Global Market
The global Nursing market is projected to grow at a rate of 5.6% from its estimated USD 1,137 Million in 2021 to reach USD 1,493 Million in 2026. The US nursing care and nursing research market are expected to be driven by the rise in chronic illnesses, which are connected to an unhealthy and sedentary lifestyle. Both RNs and Nurse Practitioners are in high demand, and New York State has had the fastest growth in jobs in the nursing field. The Nursing Care Conferences 2023 talks about the Integration of Nursing Care: Advancements, Research, and Best Practices in Healthcare.
The increasing use of numerous new technologies and strategic initiatives is anticipated to have a positive impact on the industry. By allowing doctors to analyze genuine patient information, telehealth technologies can help long-term healthcare professionals avoid admitting their residents for emergency care and give medical assistance. Most nursing facilities suffered substantial effects from the COVID-19 epidemic, however in-home healthcare services let most healthcare professionals continue their service in a secure setting. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, there will likely be an upsurge in the need for home care services in the coming years. These services can replace emergency care more affordably and safely.
The increasing use of numerous new technologies and strategic initiatives is anticipated to have a positive impact on the industry. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, there will likely be an upsurge in the need for home care services in the coming years. These services can replace emergency care more affordably and safely.
In 2020, the market for skilled care facilities was controlled by North America. Some of the main drivers driving the skilled nursing facility market in North America include the rising prevalence of various chronic diseases, the growing geriatric population, and high healthcare spending. By 2060, the US is projected to have 95 million people aged 65 and older, according to the Population Reference Bureau. Between 2018 and 2060, there will be an increase in the number of elderly individuals in the US of almost 82%. Additionally, the region's market growth is being aided by the CMS policies' ongoing modifications. North America is predicted to dominate the global market for private nursing services and will expand quickly at a CAGR of 5.4% over the projected period. The region's extensive medical infrastructure is anticipated to fuel the market's expansion. Additionally, it is anticipated that during the projected period, the region's market for private nursing services will rise more quickly due to the striking increase in the senior population.
The most opportunistic market is thought to be in Asia Pacific. The market is developing considerably due to the rising prevalence of chronic diseases, the quickly expanding elderly population, and the increased accessibility to healthcare facilities. By 2050, the United Nations predicts that 80% of individuals in their senior years would reside in low- and middle-income nations. Patients are becoming more numerous as a result of developing countries' rapid industrialization and infrastructure development, such as China, India, and South Korea. The need for skilled nursing facilities in the Asia Pacific region will increase as a result in the near future. Due to a change in old people's lifestyles, who are now more inclined toward elderly care and it provides multiple benefits such as home care, nursing care, and others, the elderly care market is expected to grow more quickly in the forecast period of 2022–2029 due to rising chronic illnesses in the elderly population, growing geriatric population, and increased awareness of elderly care among people.
According to a market research report recently published by Aritzon Advisory and Intelligence, "Nursing Care Market in U.S.- Industry Outlook and Forecast 2020-2025," nursing care in our nation is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of about 6%, generating more than $175 billion in additional revenue from 2019 to 2025. Revenue in the nursing care market is also being fueled by U.S. government funding. In 2016, Medicare spent roughly $79 billion on skilled nursing facilities and home health services combined, as stated in the NHCPO report. More than 20% of all long-term service and supported spending is represented by this. The market for nursing care and patient requirements is anticipated to continue receiving this kind of government support. Due to the rising prevalence of chronic diseases among the world's aging population, the market for private nursing services is anticipated to expand significantly. The sub-segment for senior communities is anticipated to be the most profitable. During the analysis period, the North American region is anticipated to lead the global market. The rise in chronic illnesses, which are linked to an unhealthy and sedentary lifestyle, is anticipated to drive the US nursing care industry.
The COVID-19 epidemic gives the US nursing care market a timely chance to address the spike in demand for nurses and to manage the outbreak. These nurses can assist with coronavirus testing and boost overall pandemic readiness. Over the next few years, there will probably be a rise in the number of persons with impairments due to the prevalence of chronic diseases. The fourth-leading risk factor for global mortality is physical inactivity, which the WHO estimates accounts for 60 to 85% of the world's population. This way of living is anticipated to become more prevalent in the future as the number of US employees that need prolonged office work increases. Additionally, the proportion of elderly people in the US is growing quickly. By 2030, it's anticipated that more than 20% of the population will be elderly.
Both Registered Nurses and NPs are in high demand, and nursing has led the way in terms of job growth in New York State. The New York Health Department anticipates a 7.500 yearly increase in nurse employment opportunities between 2014 and 2024. Nearly two-thirds of nurses in New York who are actively practicing are over the age of 50, and the number of RNs who are 55 and older increased by almost 6 percent between 2005 and 2014. Additionally, women make up more than 70% of those who are admitted to nursing homes. Women make up about two-thirds of both paid and unpaid consumers of home care. Due to their enhanced savings, increased employability, high literacy, rise in divorce cases, and rise in chronic diseases, the demand is also anticipated to rise among women. Comparatively speaking, the male component is smaller than the female segment. It is anticipated to increase, though, since more men are receiving medical care at home or being admitted to nursing homes. Additionally, some patients find it uncomfortable when female nurses are providing care, which raises the need for men. In contrast to women, however, it is anticipated that demand from men will stay unchanged. The sector could be impacted by a predicted scarcity. Between 2020 and 2030, the U.S. Bureau of Labour Statistics (BLS) predicts that the number of jobs for registered nurses (RNs) will increase by 9% and that of nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and nurse anaesthetists will increase by 45%. Both figures are considerably greater than the 8% average growth anticipated for all occupations over the same time period.
The U.S. Department of Commerce projects that between 2012 and 2060, the population of the country would rise by over 100 million people. Compared to 10% in 2010, more than 20% of Americans are expected to be over the age of 65 by 2030. As a result, the City of New York is dedicated to assisting this vital, heroic workforce by increasing opportunities for New Yorkers to pursue this burgeoning profession, which in New York City earns an average salary of more than $100,000. Pre-pandemic trends indicated that New York City's more than 75,000 registered nurses were expected to rise by 24% over the following ten years, about quadruple the profession's predicted 9% growth rate nationally, according to data from the NYS Department of Labour (NYSDOL). The city with the highest population density in the US has significant healthcare needs for the local population. The biggest concentration of registered nurses in the nation—173,570—work in the New York metropolitan areas.

First and foremost, we want to thank you for supporting Nursing Care 2022, a platform for discussion of different significant areas of nursing care and research. There are countless reasons to thank you for helping to make Nursing Care 2022 a fantastic conference. Without your unconditional support and faith in our organization, we would not have been able to reach nursing care in 2022, a new high in the area of nursing. Young and intelligent academics, corporate representatives, and talented student communities from more than 15 countries attended the conference, which contributed to propelling it to success.
Emerging Trends and Advancements in the Nursing Field was the theme around which the event was developed. The occasion firmly anchored emerging initiatives in the field of nursing care and research, and the conceptual and practical information presented will also encourage organizational partnerships to support scientific accelerations.
The conference's proceedings were conducted through a wide range of scientific sessions and plenary speeches, with the following experts being singled out as keynotes:
Dr. Stephanie R. Paulmeno, CEO: Global Health Systems Consultants, USA
Khaled al Qawasmeh, President of Emirates Oncology Nursing Society, UAE
Amira Yahya AL-Nasri, Directorate General of Health Affairs, Oman

Thank you, Kelly,
After my participation in the 50th Global Congress on Nursing Care and Research,
I sent you the following email, which I have now elaborated on a bit to give it more depth:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I have been meaning to write and thank you, personally, Kelly, for all of your assistance during the lead-up phases of the 50th Global Congress on Nursing Care and Research, where I presented The Suicide Crisis - PTSD, & Mental Health Issues for Nurses: Risk identification, building strength & resilience, and preventive actions
I found your personal touch to be such an essential component of this conference, which included diverse multi-lingual and multi-cultural professionals speaking on so many different aspects of nursing and nursing research; and because it included both in-person and virtual presentations.
I very much enjoyed all the other programs I attended. So many different topics were included. There were just a few given in other languages, which I wish I had been able to understand, but alas, the only other language I speak (very poorly) is Spanish. The presentations and PowerPoints were all so well done, and well presented. One Italian speaker used an interpreter, and their transitions between English and Italian were so smoothly delivered that they all flowed so seamlessly.
I enjoyed participating in the chat option where I could ask questions or make comments. I made at least one connection with a speaker on a similar topic to the one I had presented, but Sara Marair's was from a Middle Eastern perspective, while mine focused on a State in the USA.
Kudos to all of you who put the 50th Global Congress on Nursing Care and Research program together. I know how much behind-the-scenes work goes into creating a successful venue such as that. It was beautifully done and the topics were very varied, educational, and beneficial."
